辞职，公司要求赔付Relocation fee的问题

请问下，辞职，公司要求赔付Relocation fee的问题具体情况是
当时签的合同，是2年内辞职，要全额支付国际Relocation fee
合同签好后，半年考核期的时候由于公司很满意，主动给了加薪和promotion, 又给了一份新的合同，新的起始时间，新合同内薪水和职位变动，没有2年内辞职，要全额支付国际Relocation fee的条款。也没有“ 此合同同前合同有承续”之类的语句。
现在还差6个月，公司这个月突然炒掉40个人，由于项目不够等原因。我一害怕，就去找了新工作，现在要辞职，HR说赔付费用，HR说尽管新合同没有赔付字样，也是按照老合同的承续。。
请问，HR说法是否合法？

有政府电话可以咨询的地方么？类似国内有电话咨询劳动纠纷的。谢谢

另外一个问题，就出于好奇，合同上写着要辞职，需要提前2个月通知公司，不过辞职的时候，HR说一个月就可以。那么我想问的是，在法律依据下，这个时间是公司HR按照公司目前需要情况去定，还是按照合同去规定？如果一个人的新工作都安排在2个月后，是否能要求公司按照合同规定，还在公司呆2个月？

directly call it, doesn't matter if this specific office can solve the problem, but you can start from there.

Your new company may pay your relocation fee as well.

第一个HR说得应该是对的。新合同对最初合同并没有作废的效果。
第二个关于提前两个月通知的问题。查一下安省劳动法。如果你在公司一年以内的话，应该不用提前两个月通知。
